Mirziyoyev met with compatriots in Turkey

During his working visit to Ankara, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with compatriots living in Turkey and called on them to continue studying, acquiring new knowledge, and contributing to the development of Uzbekistan.

The head of state inquired about how those present live, study, and what plans they are making. He emphasized that education and scientific activity are important for the country's future.

"Wherever you are, do not waste a single minute. Always strive for science, knowledge, and learning new things. This will be your contribution to the future of our beloved Motherland," Mirziyoyev said.

The President also stated that the authorities are seeking to create conditions in Uzbekistan for the return of compatriots to their homeland. According to him, the country is expanding opportunities for scientific work, obtaining knowledge, and improving housing conditions.

Mirziyoyev expressed confidence that Uzbeks living abroad will be able to participate in the development of the country and wished them success.

As a reminder, the president arrived in Ankara to participate in the summit of the Organization of Turkic States. Following the meeting, it is planned to adopt the Ankara Declaration and a package of agreements on expanding cooperation.
