Uzbekistan is considering attracting the Chinese company JDB Group to implement an investment project for the production of soft drinks in the Zaamin district of the Jizzakh region.

According to the information service of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, representatives of the agency and the State Institution "Uzbekhydrogeology", as part of a delegation from Uzbekistan, visited China, where they held talks with the management of JDB Group.

The parties discussed the prospects for the Chinese company's participation in the implementation of the project in Uzbekistan. During the visit, the delegation also toured the production complex located in the Kunlun Mountains at an altitude of about 4.2 thousand meters above sea level.

The representatives of Uzbekistan were shown the mineral water sources, modern technologies for its production, packaging processes for finished products, and the plant's production capacities.

It is planned to study the experience gained in the context of implementing the project in the Zaamin district. At the same time, specific deadlines for launching production, the volume of investment, and the expected capacity of the enterprise are not specified in the ministry's report.
