Media: Eldor Shomurodov's former club is on the verge of a deep crisis

According to media reports, Eldor Shomurodov's former team is on the verge of a serious crisis.

The Russian club Rostov, where Uzbek striker Eldor Shomurodov used to play, is in dire financial straits.

According to reports, Rostov owes about 128 million rubles in back taxes and wages. Due to this debt, the club's bank accounts have been frozen. The accounts will not be unblocked until the financial problems are resolved.

Eldor Shomurodov played for Rostov from 2017 to 2020. He moved to the Russian club from Bunyodkor in July 2017 and defended the honor of Rostov until he was transferred to the Italian club Genoa in September 2020.
