Marketplace for military personnel to launch in Russia

A new online trading platform for the military, Roy.Market, is being launched in Russia. Previously, the service offered dual-purpose products, but now it operates in a full-fledged marketplace format. This was reported by Kommersant.

According to Andrey Bezrukov, chairman of the board of Roy.Market, the platform has been operating in test mode until now. Now it is also starting to attract sellers who cooperate with large marketplaces such as Wildberries and Ozon.

The creators of Roy.Market plan to expand the product catalog to more than 10,000 items by 2027. In addition to spare parts for drones, this catalog also includes products such as personal protective equipment, electronics, and military field uniforms.

It is worth noting that since mid-July, Ukraine has been carrying out attacks on the warehouses of Wildberries, one of the largest marketplaces in Russia. Kiev called these warehouses "legitimate military targets" because they also sold parts for drones, military uniforms, and other war goods.

A fire broke out at a large logistics center of the Wildberries company in the Voronezh region of Russia on the night of August 11. The complex, which has an area of about 153 thousand square meters, could store more than 90 million items. At the time of the incident, an alert was issued in Voronezh due to the threat of a drone attack.

Grain terminals suspended after Novorossiysk strike

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that four Russian Navy ships were damaged to varying degrees in a nighttime attack on Novorossiysk.
