Manchester City target Roma midfielder — The Guardian

Manchester City are considering a move for Roma's French midfielder Manu Kone, according to The Guardian. The English club value the 25-year-old at around £50m.
The City believe Kone's on-field presence and international experience will add a significant boost to their squad.
Manchester City are currently looking to strengthen their midfield. The club have already signed Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest for £116m. They are also close to completing the £85m signing of 18-year-old Lille midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi. Meanwhile, the team's mainstay midfielder Rodri has joined Barcelona for £65m.
Anderson is an experienced player, but Bouaddi, 18, has yet to make a major impact. Therefore, Kone's experience may be very useful for the team.
For information, Manu Kone played a total of 37 games for Roma last season, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists. His contract with the Romans runs until the summer of 2029. The Transfermarkt portal estimated Kone's market value at 50 million euros.
