Manchester City have found a new player to replace Rodri — Romano

Manchester City are looking to sign Lille midfielder Ayoub Bouadi following Rodri's transfer to Barcelona. According to insider Fabricio Romano, the 18-year-old Moroccan has already agreed personal terms with the English club. His move to England is expected to take place this summer, not a year later.

The City will hold another round of talks with Lille management in the coming hours. It is said that Bouadi's transfer is only a matter of time.

For information, Ayoub Bouadi is a product of the Lille academy. He made his debut in the first team in the 2023/24 season, at the age of 16. The midfielder played in a total of 42 games in the 2025/26 season and made 1 assist. Recall that earlier it was reported that Manchester City sold Rodri to Barcelona for 76.5 million euros.
