Man in Britain falls into coma after spider bite

Peter Murphy, a British man, was put into a coma after being bitten by a poisonous spider and miraculously came back to life. This incident prompted him to radically change his life. A serious illness and the subsequent deaths of loved ones caused him to lose a significant amount of weight.

According to Need To Know, Murphy saw a strange spider with a transparent, skeletal body and red eyes in his bed. He carefully grabbed it and tried to throw it out, when the insect bit him. Within a short time, his hand swelled and turned red, and after a few days he could not speak normally.

In the hospital, he was diagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis. This is a serious bacterial infection that causes rapid tissue death. The man was in a coma for four days and underwent four operations. The last thing he heard was the doctors' advice to his wife: if the infection spread up the arm, they would have to amputate it.

"My whole life flashed before my eyes at that moment," he says.

During this time, his brother and sister also died. After recovering, Murphy decided to change his life. He had previously struggled with excess weight, and after leaving the hospital he gained even more weight. Then he decided to lose weight and lost 42 kilograms.

His wife helped him in this. Together they gave up a hearty English breakfast, cake, kebabs, sandwiches and chips, and began to play badminton regularly. The wife, following her husband's example, also lost 22 kilograms.

"It's never too late to change," says Murphy.
