**Man charged with murder of woman in Finglas**
Daniel Simion Toader was brought before a special court on Tuesday evening.
A man has appeared in court accused of murdering a woman who was discovered dead at an apartment block in the Republic of Ireland.
The victim was identified locally as Loredana Morosanu, who was in her 40s.
She was originally from Romania and had been living in Ireland for several years.
The court was told that the accused, 47-year-old Daniel Simion Toader, who is also Romanian, gave no response when gardaí (Irish police) charged him with murder.
The woman’s body was found at flats on Melville Terrace in the early hours of Monday.
Morosanu’s body was discovered at her home on Melville Terrace in Finglas, County Dublin, when gardaí attended the property at about 04.30 local time on Monday.
The accused, also from Melville Terrace, appeared before Dublin District Court on Tuesday evening wearing a blue sweater, grey tracksuit bottoms and black shoes, according to Irish national broadcaster RTÉ.
He communicated only through a court-appointed interpreter and had no legal representation in court because of an ongoing legal aid pay dispute involving Irish criminal defence lawyers.
A senior detective told the court that the suspect was arrested and charged with murder at Finglas Garda Station earlier on Tuesday evening.
He was remanded in custody until 3 November.
