Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko announced that large-scale inspections in the country's Armed Forces will continue and will also cover mobilization readiness. He emphasized that "in order to prevent war, one must prepare for it."

On September 11, during a conversation with journalists at the "Obuz-Lesnovsky" combined arms training ground in the Brest region, Alexander Lukashenko commented on the ongoing inspections in the army.
According to him, all units of the Armed Forces of Belarus will be inspected step by step, and this process will continue up to mobilization readiness.
"I have said it simply before: the army needs to be shaken up, the time has come. The whole army. We will inspect everyone, even up to mobilization," he said.
According to the Belarusian leader, inspections have already been conducted in tank and motorized rifle units, and currently, such activities are ongoing in the artillery brigade.
"We are preparing for war so that there is no war," Lukashenko said.
He emphasized that the entire Armed Forces would undergo inspections, stating that military training conditions must be as close as possible to real combat situations.
Lukashenko explained this approach with lessons learned from the war in Ukraine, which Russian officials refer to as a "special military operation."
"Everything must be just like in battle. Our troops must be trained this way. These are the lessons of the special military operation. That is why we will shake up the entire Armed Forces," he said.
During the conversation, Lukashenko also revealed that his 22-year-old youngest son, Nikolay, is serving in the army.
In the summer, Nikolay Lukashenko received a diploma under the joint "Biotechnology" program of Peking University and Belarusian State University.
Lukashenko said that his son was conscripted into military service along with others and is currently serving as a lieutenant.
"No one even knew. Viktor [Minister of Defense Viktor Khrenin] called him up. He is serving in the army just like everyone else. A lieutenant. I won't say where, but in the most complex unit," Lukashenko said.
He added that in his free time from service, Nikolay is also continuing his studies in the field of biotechnology.
