"Leave Kyiv!": Russia warned of a major attack – weekly digest
During the week, humanity once again felt the horror of September 11, and an event that could have turned the world upside down was prevented. A drone exploded in Medina, the holy city of the Islamic world. The breath of war has now reached even the most sacred places. At a time when humanity is conquering space, the world's largest nations reached an agreement on "diesel fuel," as if returning to the last century.

"Leave Kyiv!": Russia warned of a major attack – weekly digest
During the week, the world was shaken for a moment, recalling the events of September 11, 2001. A Boeing 737 MAX aircraft belonging to Flydubai, carrying Israelis from Dubai to Tel Aviv, descended sharply and sent a signal to the ground that there was an "attempted hijack of the aircraft." Israel immediately scrambled its fighter jets and began searching for the plane, at which point communication with the board was restored.
It later emerged that the Omani co-pilot had attacked the Indian captain with a knife, attempting to kill him and seize control of the aircraft. However, the captain resisted and, covered in blood, managed to open the cockpit. Hearing the noise of the struggle, passengers near the door quickly entered and neutralized the pilot who had tried to kill the captain.
The co-pilot had also attempted to disable the control systems. Other pilots of the airline, who were traveling on a business trip on the plane, took over the controls and landed the aircraft, which had suffered damage to its tail section due to the sharp descent, at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia.
The passengers were then taken to Tel Aviv on a Flydubai evacuation flight. Israel assessed the incident as an attempted terrorist attack. The UAE Prosecutor's Office also officially announced that there had been an attempted hijacking and terrorist attack. The co-pilot was taken from Saudi Arabia to the UAE for investigation.
The situation in Yemen remains tense. The government has declared a nationwide mobilization to fight against the Iran-backed Houthi Shia group. This is because "Ansar Allah" has made major strides toward capturing the shores of the Bab al-Mandab Strait, the country's most strategic point. Adjacent shores and some islands have been taken under control. In addition, direct strikes were carried out against Saudi Arabia, which supports the government forces. So far, Saudi Arabia has done nothing in response, but the Houthis claim that "a major attack is being prepared against them."
On the morning of September 29, a drone struck the Taibah power distribution station in the holy city of Medina in Arabia, causing an explosion. The Saudi side blamed the Yemeni Houthis for the attack, but the Shia group strongly denied the accusation, stating that "they would not attack the holy cities of the Islamic world."
