Kyiv was attacked again at night after daytime strikes
On the night of September 29, Russian troops once again attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. According to city officials, missile debris fell into a residential yard, and fires broke out in several buildings. No information has been reported yet regarding casualties or injuries as a result of the night attack.
Kyiv attacked again at night after daytime strikes
According to DW, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that rocket fragments fell into the yard of a house in the Solomyanskyi district. His initial report stated there was no fire at the site.
Klitschko also reported a fire in a three-story non-residential building in the Pecherskyi district. Later, he announced that a fire had broken out in one of the buildings of an educational institution in the Solomyanskyi district following the strike.
Meanwhile, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that an unmanned aerial vehicle crashed onto the roadway. Additionally, in the Holosiivskyi district, a fire broke out after fragments fell onto the roof of a five-story building.
Two people killed in September 28 attacks
The night strikes were a continuation of the attacks carried out on the center of Kyiv during the day. Klitschko reported that two people were killed and another 26 were injured as a result of the strikes on the city since the beginning of September 28.
Eight of the injured were hospitalized. The condition of one of them was assessed as serious.
Both of the deceased were victims of a drone strike on the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The attack caused a major fire, trapping people inside the building. Many were forced to escape through the windows.
Another Russian strike hit the building of the "Dobrobut" medical center.
