Korean business has shown interest in investing in the Fergana region
Korean companies have expressed interest in implementing investment projects in the Fergana region. This became known during a meeting between the khokim of the region, Khayrullo Bozorov, and representatives of the business circles of the Republic of Korea in Seoul.
The negotiations took place as part of the working visit of the head of the Fergana region to the Republic of Korea.
The meeting was attended by the heads of Wonvain Co., Ltd, Euro Rent-a-Car Co., Ltd, Geumchang Development, China Shanghai Qigu Investment Co., Ltd, Zhejiang Caihua Technology Co., Ltd, and KSW Co., Ltd, as well as representatives of the Association of Entrepreneurs and Economists of Goyang City.
The parties discussed the expansion of investment, trade, and economic cooperation between the Fergana region and Korean business circles, as well as prospects for the preparation and implementation of new projects.
Company representatives voiced proposals for investments in the Fergana region in the fields of energy, industry, construction, and cosmetics production.
The Korean side was also presented with information on the economic and investment potential of the region, its industrial infrastructure, the opportunities of free economic and small industrial zones, as well as conditions for foreign investors.
Khayrullo Bozorov declared the Fergana region's interest in developing long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with companies from the Republic of Korea. According to him, promising initiatives will receive the necessary organizational and practical support at all stages of implementation.
Representatives of Korean business noted high interest in the investment climate and opportunities of the Fergana region and confirmed their readiness to continue cooperation in the presented areas.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to work out the proposed initiatives in detail, prepare specific investment projects, and maintain direct contacts.
