Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Fergana regional governor Khairullo Bozorov received a delegation consisting of Ku Gi Do, head of the South Korean company AHA Co., Ltd, and heads of Chinese partner companies.
The meeting discussed the progress of the construction of the enterprise in the Ecocity, joint projects in the IT and education sectors, and new plans.
This company is investing $20 million in the project in the region. The new enterprise will produce interactive whiteboards (IFPDs) for the domestic market and export, chargers for electric vehicles, medical equipment, and other products locally.
The regional head highly appreciated the Korean investor's activity and responsibility in implementing the project, as well as his initiatives to attract new partners and expand the investment climate.
The head of the company, Ku Gi Do, announced that the construction and installation work of the project in the Ecocity has reached the final stage and the production facility will be launched in September. He also provided information on the measures being taken with Chinese partners to establish the production of components and spare parts, as well as to attract grant funds to the education and information technology sectors.
During the conversation, some issues related to the completion and launch of the project were considered, and relevant instructions were given to those responsible for their resolution.
The regional governor emphasized that all promising proposals and initiatives of foreign partners will be supported.
At the end of the conversation, measures were determined to bring mutually beneficial cooperation to a new level.
