**Hokims to have AI advisors**

At a recent meeting chaired by the president, the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in Uzbekistan and strengthening international cooperation in this area were discussed.

Preliminary results of the formation of a team of AI advisors to regional, district, and city khokims were announced. Of the 500 candidates who applied, 222 specialists successfully passed the competitive selection process.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the need to attract young specialists educated abroad and fluent in modern technologies to these positions.

The advisors' performance will be assessed against strictly defined key performance indicators (KPIs). To ensure ease of management and transparency, a specialized digital platform is being launched that will allow for tracking the projects, initiatives, and results of each specialist.

Particular attention was paid to international cooperation. Uzbekistan officially became a member of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization (WAICO).

We plan to make the most of our membership in this organization. Key objectives include:

* Promoting and implementing advanced solutions in Uzbekistan, including large-scale language models and digital transformation technologies.

* Launching joint initiatives with leading international technology companies and research institutions.

* Training highly qualified domestic specialists in AI.
