"Kapitalbank" implemented the Eco-Zone project: 14 ecological zones were opened across Uzbekistan
On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, "Kapitalbank" implemented a large-scale social-ecological project, Eco-Zone Kapitalbank, and launched modern urban areas.

The Eco-Zone project combines an ecological approach with modern technological infrastructure, providing the population with highly demanded and convenient formats for recreation, study, and work.
The bank selected practical initiatives aimed at developing the urban environment and improving the quality of life in the regions. To date, 14 ecological zones have been established within the framework of the project: 4 in the capital and 10 in the main regions of the country.
Now, modern recreation zones are available in all regions where the bank's branches operate: Eco-coworking spaces are active in the cities of Tashkent, Samarkand, Urgench, Andijan, and Nukus, while Eco-Zone Family spaces are operating in Termez, Namangan, Fergana, Karshi, Kokand, and Bukhara.
Each zone is designed as a modern urban space where ecological technologies and convenient digital solutions are applied. Solar generators serve to obtain clean energy, while eco-friendly materials make the space safer for the environment. In this way, simple green areas turn into modern and comfortable spaces designed for recreation, work, and daily life. Here, the ecological approach is combined with comfort and modern technologies.
“The opening of these locations across the republic is a natural continuation of the ecological initiatives within the ESG strategy as part of the 25th anniversary of 'Kapitalbank'. We strive to introduce green solutions into daily life and create spaces where every resident of Uzbekistan can work, study, and relax in comfortable conditions,” noted Oksana Lindina, Advisor to the Chairman of the Bank's Supervisory Board.
The project demonstrates how business can create a modern and comfortable environment for future generations through the gradual implementation of eco-friendly and sustainable solutions.
Such initiatives help “Kapitalbank” not only to develop infrastructure in the regions but also to foster a responsible attitude towards natural resources and the environment across the entire country.
