Johnny Depp outlines condition under which he might return to the role of Jack Sparrow
The actor would like to help "Pirates of the Caribbean" end on a higher note.
Johnny Depp has not ruled out participating in the sixth installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean," provided the sequel offers an opportunity to bring the franchise's story to a proper conclusion. He shared this in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, according to TheWrap.
The actor separately highlighted his relationship with the series' producer, Jerry Bruckheimer. According to Depp, he trusts him and is ready to work together again thanks to their long-standing friendship.
This conversation took place during the promotion of the film "Modi" [Note: "Эбенезер" appears to be a typo/misnomer in the source for the film *Modì*, but translating as requested]. However, the artist did not confirm that he has already agreed to play Captain Sparrow once more.
Depp first played the character in "The Curse of the Black Pearl," released in 2003. The latest installment in the series to date, "Dead Men Tell No Tales," was released in 2017 and grossed around $795 million. The previous film, "On Stranger Tides," earned approximately $1.045 billion.
