Jizzakh region has obtained an independent international credit rating for the first time

Fitch Ratings, one of the world's prestigious rating agencies, has assigned a "BB−" international credit rating to the Jizzakh region. The outlook is "Stable".

Jizzax region has received an independent international credit rating for the first time.

According to Fitch analysts, Jizzax's economy is growing faster than the republic's average rate. The region's financial profile was rated "aa".

So, what does this rating provide?

The point is that when a foreign investor wants to invest money in a region, they also look at its financial condition, ability to repay debts, and risks. That is why an assessment from an international agency like Fitch is needed.

Now, Jizzax region also has an independent international assessment to present to investors.

Of course, the rating itself will not build factories or employ people. However, it creates an additional opportunity in attracting investments.
