Japarov proposed to introduce a single tourist visa for six Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov initiated the introduction of a common tourist visa for the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan to facilitate travel and combine attractions into unified tourist routes.

He stated this at a consultative meeting of leaders in the "Avaza" tourist zone in Turkmenbashi. According to Japarov, the states of the region have all the conditions for the joint development of tourism: ancient cities, mountain landscapes, the Caspian Sea coast, and a rich cultural heritage.

"One trip to several countries" — this is how the head of Kyrgyzstan formulated the principle on which, in his opinion, cooperation can be built. He proposed instructing foreign policy departments to work out specific mechanisms for introducing a common visa.

The consultative meeting in "Avaza" is attended by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.

Within the framework of the summit, the Festival of National Dishes of the CIS Countries is taking place, where the stand of Uzbekistan is presented, which was visited the day before by Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the heads of delegations of the Commonwealth countries.
