A video has circulated on social networks showing Bakhtiyor Muminov, who introduced himself as being from the Namangan region, in a difficult situation in Russia.

Representatives of the Agency's representative office in Russia and the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don went to the scene and clarified the personal information.

As a result of the investigation, it was established that Bakhtiyor Muminov moved to Russia with his family in the 1990s and subsequently obtained the citizenship of this country.

The fact that the person seen in the video is a Russian citizen was also confirmed by the relevant law enforcement agencies. His close relatives are also Russian citizens.

The Migration Agency announced that it provides practical assistance within its powers to citizens of Uzbekistan who find themselves in a difficult situation abroad.
