It is planned to launch cargo flights between Tashkent and Nanjing
It is planned to organize regular cargo flights between the Chinese city of Nanjing and Tashkent. During a meeting with representatives of Jiangxi International Cargo Airlines and Beijing Capital Airlines, Uzbekistan Airports JSC discussed the possibilities of launching the new route.
According to the presented plan, flights are scheduled to start on October 12, 2026, with a frequency of three times a week. The flights are expected to utilize Airbus A330 cargo aircraft and transport cargo in both directions.
The bulk of the cargo is expected to consist of equipment and goods related to cross-border e-commerce. The parties also reviewed the commercial and operational aspects associated with launching the new route. In particular, issues concerning airport, ground, and warehouse services, aircraft refueling conditions, preparation of the necessary infrastructure, and staff training were discussed.
Nanjing is a major historical, industrial, and logistics center in East China and the capital of Jiangsu Province. The city is located on the Yangtze River, approximately 300 kilometers from Shanghai.
From now on, "bilateral", "transit", and "to/from a third country" types of permits will be issued to national carriers solely in electronic form based on their applications. These permits have been excluded from the previously used types of distributable paper forms.
