Iranian President Rouhani calls for immediate end to war with US
Iran currently has a strong geopolitical position. Therefore, there is now an opportunity to end the conflict in the Middle East on beneficial terms, believes the country's President Masoud Pizishkiyan.

Iranian President Pizishkiyan has called for an immediate end to the war with the United States.
Pizishkiyan said, "The war must end at some point. The best thing is to end it today - when we are in a strong position, respected and the whole world recognizes our victory."
The president noted that Iran does not deny its shortcomings and shortcomings, but Tehran seeks to move the country forward together.
In early August, Masoud Pizishkiyan called on the United States to force the parties to comply with the memorandum of understanding signed by the parties on June 18. The politician added that the implementation of the document would strengthen the security of the country, the region and Iran's allies.
After Washington and Tehran signed the memorandum, the parties began 60 days of negotiations on the details of the future peace treaty. However, in early July, mutual attacks resumed. Iran later confirmed its refusal to comply with the memorandum, and US President Donald Trump notified Congress that war with Iran had resumed.
