They will be designed to help entrepreneurs develop innovative projects, introduce scientific developments, and increase the competitiveness of domestic products.
The innovative parks will be organized in the form of state institutions within the system of the Innovation Development Agency under the Ministry of Education and Science.
The main tasks of the parks include comprehensive support for startups and manufacturers of innovative products, provision of material, technical, and engineering infrastructure, as well as the launch of business incubation and acceleration programs.
Entrepreneurs will be able to receive organizational, legal, financial, and marketing services in one place. Assistance is also provided for the certification and registration of innovative products, the protection of intellectual property objects, the promotion of goods in domestic and foreign markets, as well as participation in domestic and foreign exhibitions.
The Ministry of Education and Science will organize interaction between innovative parks and higher education institutions, as well as startup studios created under them. The Khokimiyats of Karakalpakstan, the regions, and the city of Tashkent will determine the districts and cities for locating such parks based on local initiatives.
The coordination of the parks' activities will be carried out by the Innovation Development Agency. Production space on their territory is planned to be leased through electronic online auctions.
Funding will be provided through income from economic activities and leases, funds from local khokimiyats, international grants, and other sources not prohibited by legislation.
