FIFA President Gianni Infantino and First Vice-President of the Uzbekistan Football Association Ravshan Irmatov met with the players of the Uzbekistan U-15 youth national team, who defeated the Guatemala team 4:1 at the FIFA World Cup.

During the meeting, they congratulated the players on their victory and wished the team good luck in their next match.

The parties also discussed issues regarding preparations for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in 2027.

The upcoming tournament will serve as a platform to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of football, exchange experience in organizing major international competitions, and coordinate preparation work for the championship.
