Gas to be shut off in two districts of Tashkent until evening

Today, October 15, natural gas supply will be temporarily suspended in the Mirzo-Ulugbek and Uchtepa districts of Tashkent. The restrictions are related to the relocation of gas pipelines to safe locations.

As reported by the press service of the "Hududgaz Poytaht" branch, in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, work will be carried out on Milliy Bog Street in the "Alisherobod" makhalla. For the duration of the work, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, gas will be shut off in nine makhallas: "Geofizika", "Alisherobod", "Zhasorat", "Iktidor", "Zakovat", "Chingeldi", "Geologlar", "Temuriylar", and "Izhodkor".

The restrictions will affect more than 4.5 thousand private houses, 960 apartments in 33 multi-story buildings, and 46 wholesale consumers.

In the Uchtepa district, work will be conducted on the territory of the "Nurobod" makhalla. There, sections of underground gas pipelines with diameters of 76 and 57 millimeters will be relocated to a safe place away from residential buildings and a playground.

Gas supply will be suspended from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM in the "Nurobod" and "Khamdust" makhallas. Residents of 70 private houses, 1.3 thousand apartments in multi-story buildings, and 14 wholesale consumers will be temporarily left without gas.

After the repairs are completed, gas supply will be restored in stages.
