In the city of Termez, road patrol service officers stopped a Damas vehicle and discovered that 21 children were being transported in its cabin.

According to the driver, the children were being taken to kindergarten No. 16. He stated that a contract had been concluded with the kindergarten for the transportation of children. YPX officers stopped several passenger cars and delivered the children to the kindergarten.

Regarding this situation, legal action was taken against the driver. The director of the institution was explained the dangerous consequences of transporting children in this manner.

The driver said that the parents were aware of and had agreed to the children being transported in this manner. It was explained to him that such violations on the roads could lead to traffic accidents. The collected documents were sent to the regional Department of School and Preschool Education for information.

Transporting kindergarten children in 4-7-seater vehicles in violation of safety rules is quite common in Uzbekistan.

Earlier in September, it was discovered that 16 kindergarten children were being transported in a "Damas" in the Guliston district of the Syrdarya region, and in August, 28 children were being transported in the Toshloq district of the Fergana region.

In practice, in such cases, a protocol is drawn up against the driver based on Article 128-8 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. This article establishes a fine of 2 BCAs (Base Calculating Amount) for violating the rules of transporting people in a vehicle.

Such violations in transporting children have in some cases led to severe consequences. In particular, in May, it was reported that a Matiz carrying 14 kindergarten children crashed in the Nurota district.

At the wheel was the head of a family kindergarten who did not have a driver's license. As a result of the incident, the woman died, and the children were taken to the hospital with various injuries.

In addition, in the Khojaobad district of the Andijan region, a driver transporting 21 kindergarten children in a Tracker caused a traffic accident. As a result, a 6-year-old girl died, and 7 more children were injured. The court sentenced the driver to 3 years of restriction of liberty and deprived him of the right to drive vehicles for 2 years.
