In Tashkent Region, Tariffs for Drinking Water and Sewerage Are Rising
From October 1, tariffs for drinking water and sewerage services will increase in the Tashkent region. For the majority of the population, a cubic meter of water, including VAT, will rise in price by 19.2% to 3,472 soums, and wastewater disposal by 15.4% to 1,680 soums. For budget organizations and other legal entities, the increase will range from 6.7% to 33.3%.
In Tashkent Region, tariffs for drinking water and sewerage have been revised
The Kengash of People's Deputies of Tashkent Region has approved new rates for drinking water and sewerage services. For the majority of the population, the cost of a cubic meter of water will increase by 19% — from 2,600 to 3,100 soums excluding VAT, and wastewater disposal — by 15%, from 1,300 to 1,500 soums.
The resolution of the kengash was adopted on September 16. The new tariffs will come into effect 15 days after the official publication of the document — from October 1.
For the population served by "Toshkent Viloyati Suv Ta'minoti", the price of a cubic meter of water, including VAT, will rise by 19.2% — from 2,912 to 3,472 soums, and wastewater disposal — by 15.4%, from 1,456 to 1,680 soums.
For budgetary organizations and other legal entities, a cubic meter of drinking water will increase in price from 16,800 to 17,920 soums including VAT (by 6.7%), and wastewater disposal — from 3,360 to 4,480 soums (by 33.3%).
Separate tariffs have been established for the territories served by "Chimgan-Charvak Magistral Suv Ta'minoti". For the population, drinking water will increase in price from 1,680 to 1,904 soums including VAT (by 13.3%), and wastewater disposal — from 1,288 to 1,512 soums (by 17.4%).
The last time tariffs in Tashkent Region were increased was on July 1, 2025: for water supply for the population back then — by an average of 26.7–36.4% higher, and the fee for sewerage services, depending on the serving organization — by 30% (in some cases almost 3.8 times).
From January 1, 2027, the authority to approve tariffs for drinking water supply and sewerage services in Uzbekistan will transfer to the Interdepartmental Tariff Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers.
