In Tashkent, a driver who did not give way to an ambulance has been punished

A video showing a driver who did not give way to an ambulance has spread on social networks.

In it, an ambulance worker repeatedly asks the driver of a BYD car to give way via a loudspeaker. However, the driver ignores this and continues driving.

Employees of the Tashkent City Police Department's Traffic Safety Service identified the driver and drew up an administrative protocol against him.

The driver stated that he did not do this on purpose. He explained that because the windows were closed and he was listening to music, he did not hear the ambulance's siren.

The vehicle was temporarily placed in an impound lot.
