In Tashkent, a driver struck a worker who was blocking the road with heavy equipment. The dispute erupted after the worker, according to the driver, insulted his wife. Video footage of the incident quickly spread on social media.

According to the Tashkent Police Department, the cement equipment completely blocked traffic. The driver asked the workers to clear the road, but was told to wait two minutes. During the ensuing verbal altercation, the driver reported, one of the workers made a rude remark about his wife. This provoked the driver, who lost his temper and struck the worker in the face. The driver subsequently expressed regret for his actions and apologized.

The second party to the dispute, a worker, also admitted to insulting the driver.

Administrative protocols were filed against both participants in the incident under Article 183 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which classifies their actions as "petty hooliganism."
