In the Yashnabad district of Tashkent, a 35-year-old woman has been subjected to systematic domestic violence by her partner for three years. On August 24, after yet another beating, she came to friends with head injuries, bleeding from her ear, and multiple bruises on her body. Despite requests for medical and law enforcement assistance, witnesses claim no necessary measures were taken. A law enforcement officer arrived and asked the victim to write a statement declaring her innocence against her partner.

Around 3:00 PM, the woman came to friends with a head injury, bleeding from her ear, and multiple bruises. She stated that her partner regularly used force against her, but she was unable to leave because she had lost her home due to an earlier fire.

The victim's friends attempted to quickly involve the relevant authorities in the situation. They first called the 1146 hotline, where, after clarifying the details, they were advised to call an ambulance. The ambulance team took the woman to City Clinical Hospital No. 1 (formerly TAPOiCh), where doctors treated the ear wound and performed a preliminary examination. A full diagnosis of the head injury required further examination, but the hospital did not have the necessary equipment.

The victim was then transported in another ambulance to a second hospital. There, paramedics classified the injuries as bruises and sent the woman home—despite the fact that those accompanying her immediately reported a case of domestic violence.

A visit by law enforcement agencies also yielded no results. That evening, a preventive inspector arrived to see the victim. However, according to eyewitnesses, instead of initiating an investigation and taking protective measures, he suggested that she write a statement declaring no claims against her partner, after which all further action ceased.

Now, the woman's acquaintances are seriously concerned for her safety. Given the systematic nature of the violence and the lack of shelter, the victim requires a full medical examination, a protective order, and immediate placement in a specialized shelter.
