In the Gallyaaral district of the Jizzakh region, preferential loans worth 219 million soums were issued in the names of five citizens, after which the funds were spent on personal needs. This was reported by the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office.
According to the agency, the assistant to the khokim of the "Khonimkurgan" mahalla, S.Kh., employees of the Gallyaaral banking services center of a commercial bank, and other individuals were involved in this scheme. They obtained access to the electronic signatures of five citizens and issued preferential loans in their names.
The money obtained was used for their own purposes. A criminal case has been initiated regarding this fact under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.
Investigative actions are underway.
Earlier, another case of loan issuance using forged documents was reported. Five individuals posed as National Guard servicemen and obtained 428.8 million soums from a bank. To secure the loan, they used forged employment contracts and income certificates.
