In Germany, only 2 thousand people were placed in 45 thousand job vacancies
This year, an order for 45 thousand specialists was received from Germany, but only 2 thousand people were employed. The main reason is the lack of personnel who know the German language. The President emphasized the need to conduct vocational training and language preparation together.

Only 2,000 people were placed in 45,000 job vacancies in Germany.
This was discussed at a meeting on labor migration issues chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on November 2, reported the press secretary of the head of state, Sherzod Asadov.
The meeting highlighted the importance of linking orders from foreign employers with education in technical colleges and targeted training of young people with the necessary language and practical skills for employment.
Currently, in cooperation with the German company Globogate, 1,500 nurses are being trained annually in 20 medical technical colleges across the republic. In the Advanced Vocational Skills Technical College in Karshi, teachers from Germany are teaching young people the German language and vocational skills.
It was noted that an entrepreneur in Andijan renovated a vacant technical college and is preparing 1,500 specialists a year by involving teachers from Germany. The President stressed the need to expand this experience and teach the German language alongside professions in two or three technical colleges in each region.
The German company Telk has begun training 100 German language teachers at the Intil International Training Center. The task was set to involve them in regional technical colleges starting from the beginning of 2027.
The meeting pointed out that opportunities in other countries are also not being fully utilized. The European Union has included the recruitment of specialists from Central Asia in its migration strategy for the first time. However, the President noted that the role of ambassadors, khokims, and technical colleges in utilizing these opportunities remains imperceptible.
In particular, there is a demand for 33,000 workers in the United Kingdom. Nevertheless, citizens are mainly sent to this country for seasonal agricultural work. There are no clear agreements with employers in the fields of medicine, logistics, and industry, nor has the issue of participation in the "Youth Mobility" scheme been resolved.
It was emphasized that although an agreement exists with Italy on expanding labor migration opportunities, this potential is not being utilized.
The head of state focused on the fact that foreign language proficiency is one of the main conditions for finding a high-paying job abroad. In Uzbekistan, nearly 200,000 young people have thoroughly learned English and obtained certificates. However, it was noted that work to pave the way for them to work in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, and Denmark remains insufficient.
