In Bukhara, doctors removed a safety pin from the stomach of a 14-day-old baby without surgical incision.

According to Jurabek Choriyev, a doctor at the Bukhara Regional Children's Multidisciplinary Medical Center, the 14-day-old baby was brought to the hospital with symptoms of continuous vomiting and restlessness. As a result of an X-ray examination, a foreign body was detected in the baby's stomach. Using special endoscopic instruments, medical staff removed the safety pin without any surgical incision or bleeding. The procedure lasted 10-15 minutes.

According to the doctor, the baby's condition is now good, vital signs are normal — and the baby was discharged home on the very same day. The child's relatives expressed their gratitude to the medical staff for the assistance provided.

The specialist urged parents to be more attentive to the safety of babies.

"Do not forget that surrounding objects and small items can pose a danger to children!" said Jurabek Choriyev.
