In Bostanliq, an entrepreneur was found to have illegally uprooted 586 trees. Damage to nature is estimated at 1.7 billion soums.

The National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change reported that nearly 600 trees were illegally uprooted in the Bostanliq district of the Tashkent region.

During the inspection, it was revealed that on a 2-hectare land plot in the Ghazalkent neighborhood of the district, "Y.D." LLC had illegally uprooted a total of 586 trees — including 9 valuable hawthorn trees, 3 juniper trees, as well as 3 low-value wild cherry trees and 571 honeysuckle bushes.

According to the agency, despite several prior warnings and appeals made to the entrepreneur regarding this situation, they did not comply with the legal requirements and attempted to resist.

Currently, the violation has been halted by the Eco-police, and the trees buried under the soil have been extracted using special equipment. The damage caused amounts to 1 billion 705 million 660 thousand soums.

The collected documents have been forwarded to law enforcement agencies to provide a legal assessment of the situation and take appropriate measures.
