Illegal use of plants in Navoi region detected by Ecopolice officers of the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change

Illegal use of kovrak was exposed in Navoi region.

The Ecopolice of the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change conducted raids in Navoi region to detect and prevent illegal use of plants. During this raid, a case of illegal collection of kovrak was detected in the mountain range of the "Kizilcha" neighborhood of Nurota district.

It turned out that under the leadership of Ch.Kh., a citizen of Uzun district of Surkhandarya region, citizens Ch.A. and E.B., together with a group of hired workers, were engaged in illegal cutting of wild plants and collecting their sap. As a result, a total of 7,500 bushes of kovrak were damaged.

An electronic scale, 9 sharp knives intended for cutting plants and collecting sap, as well as 2,070 grams of sap mixed with sand and 220 grams of pure sap were seized from the offenders as material evidence. An appropriate report was drawn up on the seized items.

According to calculations in accordance with the legislation, the damage caused to nature as a result of the illegal destruction of wild Tajik pines amounted to 3 billion 90 million soums.

In addition, during the inspection, it was revealed that 9 light structures intended for temporary residence were illegally installed by the offender Ch.Kh. on the territory of "F.E. K." LLC. With the participation of officers of the Nurota district internal affairs bodies, these structures were removed from the territory in accordance with the procedure established by law.

The materials collected during the raid were sent to the relevant organizations for a legal assessment of the situation and taking measures.
