Over 33 thousand homes and cars sold via escrow accounts in August

The escrow account mechanism continues to rapidly gain popularity in the domestic property market and is demonstrating high demand among citizens. In August 2026 alone, 33,392 transactions were officially registered in Uzbekistan using this tool.

The largest share of transactions was in the vehicle segment, with 17,807 cars purchased using secured accounts. In the real estate sector, the figure stood at 15,585 registered properties, with another 4,346 transactions currently in the process of registration. Tashkent became the absolute leader in terms of transaction volume, accounting for 10,487 transactions, or 31.4% of the country's total. Following the capital by a noticeable margin are the Fergana region with 3,245 transactions, the Samarkand region with 2,941 registered deals, and the Andijan region with 2,395 completed transactions.
