In the Marhamat district of Andijan region, measures were taken against a driver who transported six minor children in the trunk of a Labo vehicle.
This situation was identified through a video circulated on social networks. Representatives of the regional Department of Internal Affairs' Road Safety Administration investigated the incident.
The incident took place on Buyuk Turon Street in Marhamat district, opposite State Preschool Education Organization No. 23. During the investigation, it was revealed that the 26-year-old driver carried six minor children in the cargo section of the Labo vehicle. The children were identified as relatives of the driver.
According to the driver, he bought the Labo vehicle on September 29, 2026, as a gift for his father, and while taking it away, he placed his nieces and nephews in the back of his car. He expressed regret for his actions.
Based on Part 1 of Article 128-8 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (Violation of the rules for transporting people), a fine of 2 times the BCA (Base Calculating Amount) — 840 thousand soums — was imposed on the driver. In addition, 0.3 penalty points were assigned to him.
Legal measures were taken against the driver regarding the situation. The director of the institution was explained the dangerous consequences of transporting children in this manner. The documents were sent to the regional Department of School and Preschool Education.
