Ilyos Zeytullayev, who left "Bunyodkor", has been appointed as the head coach of "Kattaqo‘rg‘on"

Samarkand's "Kattaqo‘rg‘on" club has reached an agreement with Ilyos Zeytullayev.

"We inform the team's fans that Ilyos Zeytullayev will now perform the duties of head coach," the statement said.

The 44-year-old specialist, who spent most of his playing career in Italy, had previously resigned from Tashkent's "Bunyodkor" club. The "Swallows" faced financial problems and suffered defeats in nine consecutive matches in the Super League.

The specialist started working as an assistant head coach at the Tashkent team in April 2024. In the autumn of the same year, he was appointed as the team's head coach.

For information, "Kattaqo‘rg‘on" is participating in the Uzbekistan Pro League this season. After 18 rounds, the Samarkand club occupies 7th place in the tournament table with 30 points.
