At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, together with his wife, arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit on August 23.
The head of Uzbekistan and his wife met the high-ranking guests at the Tashkent-Humo International Airport. The flags of the two countries were raised at the airport, and a guard of honor was formed.
According to the program of the visit, today the leaders of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will hold high-level talks and hold the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council.
During the summit, a number of important documents are planned to be signed, as well as a number of economic and humanitarian projects will be launched.
