On August 8, a mass traveling reception was organized at the "Uzekspocenter" in Tashkent by the Chairman of the Supreme Court, the Head of the Supreme Council of Judges, the chairmen of the courts of Tashkent city and Tashkent region and their deputies for the residents of Tashkent city and Tashkent region.

The reception began at 10:00 and lasted until 22:00. Newspaper correspondent Otabek Turdiyev was at the "Uzekspocenter" from 10:00 to 14:00 and observed the process.

According to the press service of the Supreme Court, 1,279 appeals from 854 people were heard during the reception. 403 complaints (applications) were accepted for consideration in accordance with the procedure established by law, and legal explanations were provided for 410 appeals. 41 applications were resolved positively during the admission process.

Citizens who came to the reception presented their identity documents at the registration corner. Court employees registered them through a single open communication website. After that, citizens were directed to judges for criminal, administrative, civil and economic cases, depending on their relevance.

Most of the applicants could be seen coming to the reception of the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Robakhon Mahmudova. There was some congestion and chaos at the door. Robakhon Mahmudova heard 218 applicants. Of them, 161 applications were received, and 120 applications were accepted for consideration.

"So many citizens came, but they still hope for the court. They think that if the leaders listen, the result will be different," says Malika Qalandarova, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court. — "Our laws are equal for everyone, but we are trying to find solutions to things that have not been resolved in the lower instance. There are some gaps, for example, in the legislation. As a result of these mobile receptions, some of our proposals are taking shape. For example, one business entity came with a legal issue. They say that there are issues of recognizing and focusing on execution at the international level. They are also expressing opinions on whether international agreements should be adopted here."

She also negatively assessed the fact that citizens do not apply to the court on time and say, "I have been busy for 17-19 years." Stressing the need to increase legal culture among the population, Kalandarova said, "There are deadlines in economic courts, and we cannot violate procedural legislation even if we want to."

According to Abdurakhmon Tashanov, the head of the Ezgulik human rights society, "if people are not dissatisfied, they will not come to such mobile receptions."

"They wanted to hold it like the MIA's mobile reception, so far it's not bad. But it's not ideal. As for the riots, all the employees of the MIA are regulating the situation, they have a lot of resources. We are seeing some activity here now, despite the fact that it's a day off, even the chairman of the Supreme Court, his deputies and all the judges are accepting people's appeals. But this does not mean that the judicial system has become perfect. If there were fair verdicts, then so many people would not come to the mobile receptions," he says.

In an interview with journalists, the chairman of the Supreme Court, Robakhon Mahmudova, spoke about the organization of the next mobile reception for residents of the Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions.

The newspaper correspondent was interested in what topics those who came to the reception were addressing and talked to some of them.

"In 2023-2024, we signed a notarial agreement with Credit House and In-fin-stroy Invest and purchased 48 apartments at the Bogishamol facility in Yunusabad. We made an initial payment of 30-40 percent, and the rest was paid monthly, depending on the square footage of our house - some at 5 million, some at 7 million, and some at 10 million soums.

We bought the houses in a "box" condition. We installed the doors ourselves, repaired them, and brought them into a habitable condition. Each owner of the apartment spent a lot of money on this.

We were unaware, and later we found out, that In-fin-stroy Invest had sold us the apartments we lived in and taken out a loan by pledging them to Anorbank.

In 2025, a criminal case was opened against the company and their accounts were blocked. After that, we stopped making payments under the contract We could not continue. Later, Anorbank took In-fin-stroy Invest to court and a decision was made to foreclose on our houses.

Now we are at risk of being evicted from our houses and sold through MIB. This could result in 48 apartments, that is, more than 200 people, being left on the street.

Today, five people on behalf of 48 apartments were at the judge's reception. We were offered to cancel the bank's mortgage on our houses. We were also told to file an application with Anorbank to cancel the loan agreement.

To file an application, it is necessary to pay a 2% fee, based on the contract amount of the house or the amount pledged - I don't know for sure. For example, if the house is worth 800 million soums, 2% will be 16 million soums. Some victims cannot afford to pay this money. We are already suffering, and we are losing. "If we let it go, we will suffer again.

But we also have our own proposal. That is, we are ready to agree with the bank through legal means and continue to make monthly payments on the loan. We will not avoid payments, we only ask them to register our houses in our names."

"In 2012, the NKS confiscated four AYOQSH in our name and sold them illegally. Even then, the courts were not independent, they told the courts and confiscated all my property. They held me criminally liable and sentenced me to 12 years in prison. By 2017, our president said that anyone who had been harmed by the NKS should apply. When we applied, I was completely acquitted.

But to this day, we cannot get our property back. The party that took our property is still putting pressure on the courts and not giving us our property. The judges were not even ordering an audit. We have now visited the Supreme Court Chairman Robakhon Anvarovna. Now, after an objective examination, she has given a positive opinion on ordering an audit. Let's see what happens."

"Now the case of blogger Sirojiddin Odilov has been accepted. We were heard by the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court. In addition, I was also held accountable by the military prosecutor's office for the Nozim Abdullayev case, that is, for the issue of torture. Both cases are good for now, they accepted. They said that they will create all the opportunities. We are not asking for any privileges, we said, give us a platform to fight, we will fight in court in our own way. Now they will create an opportunity for that.

The Jizzakh city court is currently in the negotiation stage regarding "Sirojiddin Media". There will be a negotiation on Tuesday next week (August 18), and after the final word, the verdict will be announced. As a defense attorney and lawyers in the court proceedings, Sirojiddin Odilov has fully proven his innocence "We gave it to him. We hope he will be released now."

Feruza Toshpulatova, Ahangaran district, Tashkent region

"On June 25, 2023, officers of the Boka district of the Tashkent region organized a fake event in order to implicate my son in a drug-related crime.

A boy named Albert Fayzullin told my son to stop in Boka, that my family was giving him something. Alisher Yusupov, who arrived from Bekabad in a Damas car, brought drugs hidden in a paint can and handed them to my son. After that, my son was detained in Boka, near the internal affairs and prosecutor's offices. I consider Albert Fayzullin to be one of the main organizers of this case. The operatives also said that it has been three years since he fled to Tajikistan, but he has not been found yet. Yusupov Alisher is also not attending the trial.

My son was sentenced to 12.5 years in prison. We are dissatisfied with the court's decision. My son was placed in a strict regime colony in Qarovulbazar, Bukhara region. He was not even allowed to participate online in the inspection court, and no witnesses were called. Only one operative was called, and he could not fully answer the lawyer's questions. Despite this, the court's decision was left unchanged.

I have appealed more than 40 times on this issue. I have appealed to the presidential administration, the Tashkent regional court and the prosecutor's office, but my appeals are not being examined impartially.

My son has been convicted before. At the age of 18, he was imprisoned for seven years for attempted rape, and then they wrote out "no claim". I believe that after he served his sentence, he was involved in similar cases again. If I had thought that my son was guilty, I would not have wandered so far.

Now I have to appeal to the Supreme Court again "We will apply in the order of inspection. My main demand is to review the case impartially, find the people who brought the drugs and are considered to be involved in the case, call witnesses and establish the truth."

Isomiddin Eshonkulov, Gallaorol district, Jizzakh region

"We have been in court over the land issue for several years. I had a total land area of 2.2 hectares, of which I previously reclaimed 1.1 hectares from other individuals through the court. This area was previously allocated to other individuals under the "Youth is our future" state program and construction was carried out there. Later, the chief architect of Gallaorol district was convicted because this allocation contradicted legal documents and norms.

Some of the constructed buildings were demolished based on a court decision. In the process of demolishing the rest, the other party filed a complaint with the internal affairs department and initiated a criminal case. I think that through this criminal case, they want to declare my land lease agreement as fake and seize my land.

Imomqul Abduqulov, who worked in the cadastre, and my late father Ummatqul Eshonkulov were also involved in the criminal case. In the court documents, there are conflicting statements about whether Imamqul Abduqulov worked in the cadastre authorities or not. There are conclusions. One court document states that he worked in the cadastral authorities, while another court document states that he "did not work at all."

My father was also made an accomplice in the case based on the instructions of Imamkul Abdukulov. It was said that my father asked him to forge the document. However, I am the head of the "Serkuyosh Yurt Fayzi" farm and I also managed the farm myself. My father did not interfere in these matters.

My father died on February 4, 2025. On February 7, the other party filed a complaint against me. I think they could not have done such a thing when my father was alive.

Today I came to the Supreme Court on this issue. I wanted to apply to Alisher Usmanov, the deputy chairman of the Supreme Court for criminal cases. But the case is still in the inspection instance of the Supreme Court "They did not accept it because it was not considered.
