On the eve of the new academic year, the eMaktab national digital education platform presented digital tools and solutions aimed at quality and affordable education for the 2026/2027 academic year.

**Key updates:**

* **Automation of processes and reduction of manual labor:** One of the main areas of the updates was to reduce the manual labor of teachers and school staff. This is achieved through automation of processes and systematic use of educational data.

* **Preparation of schools for the new academic year:** Before the start of the academic year, schools must update information about students and classes, adjust the academic periods and lesson schedules, and also download official calendar-theme plans.

* **Monitoring preparation stages:** The school performance dashboard tracks three main stages of preparation: transferring current classes to the new academic year, adding first-graders and their parents, and creating a temporary and permanent lesson schedule. The first three indicators must be completed by September 1, and the permanent lesson schedule must be created by September 6.

* **Degree of task automation:** The eMaktab system has automated some processes related to preparing for the new academic year. The system can automatically perform about 25 percent of tasks, and another 50 percent of tasks have been simplified to the point that they can be performed by the user in one action.

* **Integration with ERP:** One of the main updates is the deeper integration of eMaktab with erp.maktab.uz. To do this, the school must prepare classes in eMaktab and enable the “Synchronization” function. After that, the system receives information about students and classes from the ERP, reflects the admission and expulsion of students, updates personal data and transfers classes to the new academic year. In the future, changes related to the admission, transfer, expulsion and graduation of students will be entered into the erp.maktab.uz system and will also be automatically reflected in eMaktab.

* **Automation of basic settings:** Some basic settings, such as the reporting periods of classes, the language of instruction, and the traditional or criterion type of the electronic journal, are also being automated.

* **Centralization of calendar-thematic plans:** Approved annual calendar-thematic plans will be placed centrally in the system. The teacher will be able to download the necessary plan without manually creating it by selecting the “Ready TMR from MMTV” function in the journal.

* **Checking the settings of electronic journals:** In the new academic year, the tools for checking the correctness of the settings of electronic journals will be expanded. The system will be able to notify school administration and teachers of possible inconsistencies, including the journal subject and assessment period, and in classes where criterion-referenced assessment is used, it will check the compliance of elective subjects with class settings. This will allow you to identify and correct errors in setting up journals before announcing the final results and transferring data to other information systems.

* **Timely maintenance of electronic journals:** In the 2026/2027 academic year, special attention will be paid to the timely maintenance of electronic journals, that is, the timely entry of data on grades, attendance and homework.

* **Monitoring tools:** eMaktab monitoring tools will allow specialists to see the overall picture of educational institutions, identify issues that require attention, and provide schools with methodological and organizational support.

* **New reports for the criterion-based assessment system:** New reports have been prepared for schools operating with the criterion-based assessment system.

* The “BSB/CHSB Monitoring” report allows the administration to monitor the planned and actual results of assessment work, student coverage, missing results, quality and mastery indicators, as well as identify classes and subjects that require additional attention.

* The “Class Details” report allows you to go from general statistics to the results of a specific student: see the results of individual works, their percentage of completion, individual gaps of the student, the sum of the final scores and the quarterly grade.

* **Engineering class experiment:** In the new academic year, it is planned to open engineering classes in robotics, programming and 3D modeling as a pilot in 20 schools in Tashkent. The program involves the gradual mastering of robotics and programming, working with sensors, Python and Arduino, schematics and 3D modeling, and then the implementation of independent engineering projects. The project includes the necessary equipment, teaching methodology, teacher training and methodological support. Based on the results of the pilot testing, the next model for expanding the project will be determined.

* **Development of fintex services:** In the 2026/2027 academic year, eMaktab will begin developing fintex services for adult users of the platform. The first direction will be “eMaktab payments”. This service will allow schools to create accounts in the system and track the status of payments without manual reconciliation. Parents will be able to view accounts in one place, receive reminders about payment deadlines and pay them digitally. The pilot project of the service will be launched in private schools in Tashkent city and Tashkent region in September 2026. In the future, it is planned to gradually expand the project.
