Business registration has begun in Uzbekistan. Everyone, from large enterprises to the self-employed and entities operating without registration, will be registered.
How business registration will be conducted
By Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 557 dated 09.10.2026, the Regulation on the procedure for preparation and conduct of the business registration event in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the business registration program, and questionnaire forms were approved.
The registration will be conducted as of October 1, 2026. Regardless of whether they are state-registered or not, their form of ownership, and residency status, all economic units — legal entities and their branches, entrepreneurs operating without forming a legal entity, self-employed individuals, foreign representative offices, as well as entities operating without registration — will be registered.
An economic unit will be registered at the place of its actual activity, regardless of its registered address. The survey will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the state language and, if necessary, in the native language of the respondent.

The questionnaire will specify information on activity, number of employees, 2025 expenses and turnover, owners, as well as TIN or PINFL. If a respondent refuses the survey or cannot be found on site, the questionnaire will be filled out based on makhalla, hokimiyat, or administrative data.
Information allowing the identification of a person is considered confidential and will be anonymized during processing (Articles 28 and 30 of the Law "On Official Statistics").
The results of the registration will be published on the official website of the National Statistics Committee by September 1, 2027. Questions can be directed to the call center at 1851.
