Hong Kong Companies Offer Tashkent Digital Developments for Transport and Security

In Tashkent, as part of the ICT week "ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026", a meeting was held at the Digital Development Department of the capital's khokimiyat with representatives of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and its resident companies "Showmac", "eSIX", and "Cogniser".

The main objective of the negotiations was to study international experience in implementing digital technologies and artificial intelligence-based solutions, adapt modern "Smart City" technologies to local conditions, and discuss opportunities for implementing joint projects. During the meeting, representatives of "eSIX" presented continuous and secure communication technologies that combine 4G/5G networks, fiber-optic, and satellite communications for transport, video surveillance, and utility infrastructure.

The company "Cogniser" showed artificial intelligence-based solutions for urban management, security, education, and industrial monitoring, while "Showmac" demonstrated smart devices and educational developments. The parties discussed practical steps to integrate these solutions into Tashkent's infrastructure, with plans to first test the promising technologies in a pilot mode before their widespread implementation.
