"His voice and principles live on" - a film dedicated to the memory of journalist Alisher Roziokhunov was screened
On September 14, a documentary film dedicated to the memory of journalist Alisher Roʻzioxunov was screened at the Content Center. The film depicts his life, career in journalism, and dedication to the profession through the memories of his colleagues. According to journalist Yulduz Olimova, the goal of the project is to showcase values important to a journalist through the life and career of Alisher Roʻzioxunov.

Alisher Roʻzioxunov passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 32 due to an illness. He worked at the Kun.uz website for several years and prepared hundreds of materials on topical issues in the life of the state and society. The journalist was known for his work aimed at covering economic topics, studying problematic issues, and increasing the financial literacy of the population.
He also launched projects such as the "Munozara klubi" (Debate Club), which gathered employees of state organizations and representatives of the economic block around one table. In 2021, as an editor of the "Ijtimoiy-huquqiy media markazi" (Social-Legal Media Center) NGO, he was awarded the "Kelajak bunyodkori" (Builder of the Future) medal.
On September 14, a documentary film dedicated to the memory of journalist Alisher Roʻzioxunov was screened at the Content Creation Center. The film was prepared based on his short but meaningful life, journalistic activity, attitude towards the profession, and the memories of his colleagues.
According to one of the film's authors, journalist Yulduz Olimova, the goal of the project was not only to remember Alisher Roʻzioxunov, but also to show values important for a journalist through his life and activity.
"For Alisher, journalism was not just a profession. He possessed knowledge, courage, research, and a rush to help people. Most importantly, he lived feeling the responsibility before his profession," says Yulduz Olimova.
She noted that the film is seen as the beginning of work about Alisher Roʻzioxunov. In the future, the goal is to convey the life and work of other journalists who left their school and mark in national journalism and are no longer with us to future generations through documentary films.
"Journalism should not only seal today into history. Journalism must also not forget the people who created its history," she says.
Alisher Roʻzioxunov's close friend and colleague Ilyos Safarov also spoke at the film's presentation.
According to him, the film was worked on for several weeks. Qobuljon Ahmedov, the head of the Content Creation Center, and journalist Yulduz Olimova made a great contribution to the implementation of the project.
