Hansi Flick set a 21st-century record among Barcelona managers

In the 6th round of the Spanish La Liga, Catalan club Barcelona secured a major 7:2 victory over Racing. This was the 95th win in 124 matches in charge of the team for the "Blaugrana" head coach Hans-Dieter Flick. It is worth noting that under the German specialist, the team has won 77 percent of the matches played.

According to Stats Foot, this is the best performance among the Catalan club's managers in the 21st century. With this result, Flick broke the record of former head coach Luis Enrique (76 percent).

Notably, this is not the best indicator in Flick's career. The German specialist managed Bayern Munich from 2019 to 2021 and achieved an even higher result with the Munich side — 81 percent. Back then, he led the team onto the pitch a total of 86 times, winning 70 of them (7 draws and 7 defeats).

For reference, Hans-Dieter Flick took over the Barcelona post in the summer of 2024. His current contract with the club runs until mid-2028. After the 6th round of the 2026/27 Spanish La Liga season, the Catalans occupy 1st place in the tournament table with 18 points.
