Flick reveals Barcelona's future plans in the transfer market

Barcelona coach Hansi-Dieter Flick has given his thoughts on the changes expected in the team and possible acquisitions in the final days of the summer transfer window. The German expert said that the club's management is working on new players.

"I am not happy with the current squad. The club's sporting director is monitoring the situation in the market. If there is an option that can really strengthen our team, he will definitely get to work. But no one is forcing us to make a transfer right now. The main goal is not to bring someone in, but to make a purchase that will strengthen us," said Flick.

The coach of the "blue and orange" also did not hide that he was looking for a new player for the central attacking line before the summer transfer window closed. However, he firmly emphasized that the club would not try to buy someone at any price. Earlier, reports circulated on social media that the Catalan club was interested in signing Atletico Madrid's Julian Alvarez as the main candidate for the position. However, Madrid's management has stated that they have no intention of selling their striker to their league rivals.
