Gofurjon Mirzayev dismissed from the post of presidential advisor — source

Gofurjon Mirzayev, who has been serving as the President's advisor on personnel, has been dismissed from his post.

According to "Daryo"'s government source, he is expected to be appointed as the chairman of the Association of Neighborhoods (Mahallas), replacing Qahramon Quronboyev.

Gofurjon Mirzayev was born on April 21, 1964, in the Fergana region. In 1990, he graduated from the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute with a degree in electrical engineering.

In 2000, he graduated from the Tashkent State University of Economics (by correspondence) with a degree in economics. Gofurjon Mirzayev assumed the office of khokim of the Syrdarya region in 2016. In 2020, he was reconfirmed as the khokim of the Syrdarya region. In 2022, he was appointed to the post of advisor to the president on civil service, dialogue with the public, and coordination of local government activities.
