Gas to be temporarily shut off in two districts of Tashkent

On October 28, gas supply will be temporarily suspended for several thousand apartments in the Mirabad and Mirzo-Ulugbek districts of Tashkent. The restrictions are related to the connection of a new underground gas pipeline on Taras Shevchenko Street.

According to the press service of Hududgaz Poytaxt, gas will be shut off from 10:00 to 18:00.

In the Mirabad district, eight multi-storey buildings in the "Oybek" makhalla — about 1.7 thousand apartments — will be left without gas supply. In addition, the outage will affect 16 private houses in this makhalla.

In the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, gas supply will be suspended in nine multi-storey buildings in the "Oqibat" makhalla, where about 1.9 thousand apartments are located, as well as in 11 multi-storey buildings in the "Nur" makhalla, numbering about 2.1 thousand apartments.

In addition, a drop in gas pressure is expected in the "Afrosiyob", "Lolazor", "Farovon", and "Ming Urik" makhallas. In the "Oqibat" and "Nur" makhallas of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, temporary restrictions will also affect 18 wholesale consumers.

After the repair work is completed, gas supply is promised to be restored in stages.
