Gas temporarily shut off in three districts of Tashkent due to leak

In the Yashnabad, Mirabad, and Sergeli districts of the capital, the supply of natural gas has been temporarily suspended. The restrictions were introduced due to emergency restoration work on a medium-pressure underground gas pipeline in the Yashnabad district. Gas temporarily shut off in three districts of Tashkent due to leak

In the Yashnabad, Mirabad, and Sergeli districts of the capital, the supply of natural gas has been temporarily suspended. The restrictions are due to emergency repair work on a medium-pressure underground gas pipeline in the Yashnabad district.

As reported by the Hududgaz Poytaxt branch, a gas leak was detected in the area of the compensator of the underground gas pipeline that passes through the "Yangi Davr" mahalla. To eliminate the accident, gas supply has been temporarily suspended at the following addresses:

Yashnabad district: "Yangi Davr", "Nodira", "Donishmand", and "Khosiyat" mahallas, Izzat Street, and the Assalom Havo residential complex (a total of 1,220 private houses and 1,664 apartments in multi-story buildings).

Mirabad district: private sectors in the "Ok Uy" and "Fayzobod" mahallas, as well as 20 apartment buildings in the "Korasu" mahalla (a total of 1,400 private houses and 80 apartments).

Sergeli district: "Kuylyuk-5", "Kuylyuk-6", and "Kuylyuk-7" residential areas, "Kushkurgan" mahalla, and Nufuzli Street (a total of 220 private houses and 3,844 apartments).

Currently, specialists are carrying out the necessary repair work to eliminate the leak. The gas supply will be restored immediately upon completion of the emergency measures.
