From July 1, a unified digital platform for energy tariffs will be launched in Uzbekistan

Starting from July 1, 2027, Uzbekistan plans to introduce a unified digital platform for the formation and control of tariffs in the fuel and energy sector. This is stipulated by presidential decree No. PF-202 dated September 22, 2026.

The platform will electronically accept tariff applications and the data required for calculations. Tariff calculation is planned to be automated based on the approved procedure.

In addition, the system will verify tariff applications and assess how the decisions made will affect the financial sustainability of enterprises and the budget. The processes of reviewing, adjusting, and approving tariffs will be digitized.

A unified electronic database on state tariff regulation will also be created. The platform must ensure transparency in the distribution of funds received from consumers of electricity, natural gas, and liquefied gas.

The same decree changed the procedure for calculating the cost of electricity for large consumers depending on the time of day. From 09:00 to 17:00, a reduction coefficient of 1.5 will apply to them.
