From Hills to a Tourist Zone: "Grape Garden" Being Developed in Asaka District

In the Asaka district of the Andijan region, a tourist complex called "Grape Garden" is being established on an area of 192 hectares. The project is valued at 51.8 billion soums and envisages the creation of 275 permanent and 200 seasonal jobs.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the complex in the "Yangi Hayot" massif and reviewed the progress of its development.

Four capsule houses and five yurts have already been installed on the territory, and a family restaurant and amusement rides are operational. Ornamental and coniferous trees have been planted on 30 hectares.

A drip irrigation system is used for watering, and water is collected in a reservoir with a capacity of 14,000 cubic meters.

Once fully operational, the complex will be able to provide services worth 80 billion soums per year. It is planned to be fully launched by the end of the year.

During the trip, the President also visited a gastronomic tourism street in the Urikzor mahalla of the city of Andijan.
